The annual Tumbarumba Rodeo is held on New Year's Day. This event attracts professional competitors from around Australia. A day of thrills and spills; sideshows, bar and stalls. Feature events are Stallion Chute-Out, Jodie Bramich Memorial Open Bull Ride, Ladies buckjumping contest, Aussie Rules/Rugby League Teams Challenge Steer Ride.
