Tumbarumba - Jingellic
Allow at least 2 hours for this drive as you will want to visit the the historic Bridge Hotel at Jingellic on the bank of the mighty Murray River.Picnic spot: The reserve behind the Bridge Hotel, right
beside the Murray River.
The River Road from Jingellic follows the Murray River to Waleregang, and takes you past the Jephcott Arboretum. (This is a gravel surfaced road). The arboretum was planted in the 1860s, and many of the seeds were supplied by the state botanist of the time, Ferdinand Von Mueller.
